Jaskirat’s journey in Australia began in 2006 when he arrived as a young international student from India. Coming from a culturally diverse background and being empowered with multilingual abilities in English, Punjabi, and Hindi have allowed him to effectively bridge communication gaps and connect with people from diverse backgrounds.

Having navigated the intricacies of the Australian legal system firsthand, Jaskirat recognised the challenges faced by many members of the community in understanding and working within this complex system. This realization ignited a passion within him to provide support and guidance to those in need.

Prior to embarking on his career change and being admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of South Australia, Jaskirat dedicated over a decade of his life as a youth worker, focusing on helping young people experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, and mental health issues.

During his downtime, Jaskirat likes to focus on the notion of self-reflection and making this world a better place, one step at a time.
