Practice Areas

  • Migration Law & Citizenship

From a young age, Cassandra developed a strong sense of justice, particularly for refugees and asylum seekers, which led her to pursue a career in Migration Law.

In 2020 she commenced a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice at Flinders University. During her studies, Cassandra interned at JusticeNet, assisting with their Pro Bono Connect Service, where she gained exposure to the systemic barriers that limit access to justice, strengthening her commitment to advocating for vulnerable communities.

In 2023, Cassandra completed her law degree and obtained her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. That same year, she worked at the Australian Refugee Association (ARA) in their Migration Team, where she assisted with Offshore Humanitarian Visas, Partner Visas, Visitor Visas, Orphan Relative Visas, Citizenship matters and complex cases involving inconclusive DNA, PIC4020, and identity and character issues.

In February 2024, Cassandra was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia, followed by admission to the High Court of Australia. Now an integral part of the MSM Legal team, she continues to expand her expertise, particularly in Protection Visas, Partner Visas, and preparing submissions for Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) / Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) matters.

Cassandra is known for her strong resolve and commitment to leaving no stone unturned. She is dedicated to thorough research and providing meticulous, detailed documentation to secure the best outcomes for her clients. Despite her relatively short legal career, she has already achieved significant victories for her clients.

Outside of her legal work, Cassandra enjoys playing tennis, knitting, exploring the vast beauty of South Australia, and spending time with her partner and their cuddly Siberian Forest Cat, Tilly.
