Immigration SA has launched a new-look list of occupations for Skilled Subclass 190 State Nominated or Skilled Subclass 489 Regional Provisional visas. A broader list of occupations sees the South Australian Government trying to persuade more SA Graduates to remain living and working in South Australia. The Supplementary List replaces the existing SA Graduate list immediately and is also available to those who meet the Chain Migration Requirements and those who have worked in a skilled occupation in South Australia for the last 12 months.

Comprising a total of 480 occupations, the list is essentially the  Department of Immigration and Border Protections Consolidated Sponsored Occupations List (CSOL).  Applicants will need to be careful to check any additional nomination requirements for their occupations such as English language, registration/licensing or work experience requirements. Certain occupations have limited availability. All other nomination requirements must be met by applicants in order to receive an invitation to apply for a skilled visa.
